This time of the year can be crazy busy… From school, to work, to family and friends, etc. Here’s a list of things you can do to help your brain power through finals, holiday shopping, events, organizing + anything and everything else in between!

FOODS TO EAT

Eating foods high in antioxidants and fats, and low in added sugar and preservatives will help your brain function the most efficiently. Here’s a list of specific foods you can eat to really boost your cognitive function!

  1. AVOCADOS

  2. BLUEBERRIES

  3. Broccoli

  4. CACAO

  5. citrus fruits

  6. Eggs

  7. Fish

  8. GREEN TEA

  9. pumpkin seeds

  10. WALNUTS

THINGS TO DO

Nourishing your mind and soul is just as important as your body. (And — They’re all connected!) Here’s a few things you can do to help out your cognitive function, as well as your mood, during busy times and overload.

Get active

Anything from a walk, a jog, a gym session or a workout class… Exercising does so much good for you, including boosting your memory!

Get creative

Creativity actually helps reduce memory loss, and can simultaneously stimulate your brain to better your focus and concentration! Getting creative can include painting, crafting, dancing, calligraphy, singing, playing an instrument, etc.

Get social

Study with a classmate or go holiday shopping with a friend!

get spiritual

Practice religion, spirituality, or simply meditate! (Meditating doesn’t need to be sitting still with your eyes closed. You can color, write, bake… Anything that gets you into a flow.)

Use sage

Sage is an amazing essential oil that improves memory and concentration!
