PUMPKIN NICE CREAM BOWL RECIPE (VEGAN, PALEO, GLUTEN FREE + REFINED-SUGAR FREE)
I have the YUMMIEST recipe to share with ya’ll. I think this might be my favorite nice cream/smoothie bowl I’ve ever made. It’s creamy, chocolatey, refreshing, and -DUH- has pumpkin for fall!!
Real quick, if anyone gets confused between “nice cream” and “smoothie bowl”, they’re pretty much the same thing. To me, nice cream is just a little more indulgent- made up of more frozen banana, giving it an ice cream texture.
Make this yummy bowl for yourself, kids, family and friends for a delicious, guilt-free, yet totally indulgent treat during this holiday season!

Let’s get into the recipe. . .
3-4 frozen bananas
1 tablespoon pumpkin puree
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 heaping tablespoons raw cacao powder
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon cacao nibs
3 chopped dates
As I always say: Try to find these ingredients in their purest form, with no added sugar or ingredients.
Add frozen bananas, pumpkin puree and almond butter to a food processor. A high-speed blender will work, but for ice cream texture, a food processor works best. I use one from Cuisinart.
Pulse on high until any big pieces turn to small bits.
Add vanilla, cacao, pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon to the mixture. You may add a dash of water or unsweetened almond milk to help blend. You may also want to cut or stir any pieces that are having difficulty blending
Scoop into 1-2 serving bowls and top with any preferred toppings! I used cacao nibs and some chopped up dates!
