BEST FOOD SPOTS IN SAN FRANCISCO

MY FAVORITE PLACES TO EAT, DRINK AND MUNCH IN SF

Hi babes!!

I've been getting questions about places I would recommend in San Francisco since I've been spending lots of time there recently, so here ya go!! Here are my favorite spots to grab a bite in the city. . .

CAFE REVEILLE - MISSION BAY

Cafe RΓ©veille is my go-to in SF. I absolute love this little cafe. Not only is it pink, full of plants, and totally adorable, but it's delicious and offers some super healthy options!

A few of my favorites: oat milk latte, acai bowl, and the baby bowl.

JOE & THE JUICE - FILLMORE

Joe & the Juice is a coffee, juice and smoothie bar in SF (they've got loads of locations). I've only tried their almond milk latte, but it was super frothy and yummy! I'll definitely go back to try a smoothie and juice.

SALT & STRAW - HAYES VALLEY

I LOVE Salt & Straw!! The flavors I've tried were some of the creamiest I've ever had, and they always offer 1-2 vegan flavors! I've gotten hazelnut, mint chocolate chip, and coconut strawberry, which were all SOOOOO delicious. You should definitely stop by (even if it's just to sample a few flavors).

PALM HOUSE - UNION STREET

Palm House is an adorable and unique restaurant on Union Street (which alone is adorable). Not only does Palm House have super cool drinks (including their famous, giant, alcoholic punch bowl filled with rubber ducks), but it also has a really cool atmosphere and DELICIOUS food! I've only gone for brunch, but I'm obsessed with the coconut and mint iced coffee made virgin, the banana french toast, and the pineapple poke salad.

MEDIA NOCHE - MISSION DISTRICT

I discovered this little gem last time I was in the city, and I will DEFINITELY be back! For now, I've only tasted the guava & lime drink, which was absolutely amazing, but I can't wait to taste some of their other Cuban goodies!

GIO GELATI - UNION STREET

Stumbled into this quaint gelato shop on Union, and now it's my go-to when I'm in the area! Offering about five different vegan flavors, from fruit sorbets to pistachio and coconut chocolate chip, everything I've tried is so creamy and delicious!

HOME - SUNSET DISTRICT

Of course I had to check out this Instagram-worthy cafe. Although it's located in kind of a random spot, it was super cute and super yummy! I got the famous birthday cake latte with soy milk, which was super creamy and delicious (I think the flavor was vanilla and hazelnut). Their menu is super extensive and includes a bunch of cool and creative espresso drinks, teas, and food items, as well! I'll definitely be back to taste more of their goodies.

LOVING CUP - UNION STREET

Loving Cup is a unique ice cream shop that makes your creations on the spot. They offer a banana and nut-milk base, which I've never seen before! I will say, though, they don't have the best additions if you're trying to stay health-conscious. I ended up getting a banana, almond milk and peanut butter blend, which was totally yummy, but not SUPER flavorful... They do offer other candy, yogurts, and flavors that are more indulgent (and I'm sure more flavorful) if you want to check it out!

TATAKI SUSTAINABLE SUSHI AND SAKE BAR - LOWER PACIFIC HEIGHTS

I'm sorry for the lack of photos here - I stumbled across this amazing sushi bar while my phone was at 1%, but it was some of the BEST sushi I've ever had (and the best I've had in the city, by far)! I arrived during happy hour and ordered garlic edamame, agedashi tofu, and some shiro maguro nigiri. Everything was so delicious and fresh, and the staff was super helpful and sweet. I will DEFINITELY be back for more!! (Food AND photos, LOL).

TOASTY - COW HOLLOW

Of course I had to check out this Instagrammable toast bar off of Union Street! It was super tiny, but had a pretty good menu. I ordered the naked toasty (avocado toast with olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper) and a vanilla soy milk latte. The latte was super frothy and creamy (although I couldn't really taste the vanilla). The toast was LOADED with avocado (I actually ended up scooping some of it off because too much avocado makes me break out- LOL), but other than that it was really yummy! Kind of expensive for a pretty basic avocado toast, but the lemon really added some good flavor!

JANE - FILLMORE

Jane is a super popular spot on Fillmore Street. It's always packed, but it's super yummy and I love the atmosphere! I've tasted one of their green smoothies, and two of their salads- the happy hippie bowl (pictured) and the freekeh. Both are SO YUMMY! This place has so many good veggie options, and they also offer baked goods and espresso drinks! You should for sure check Jane out if you're in the city!

WRECKING BALL COFFEE ROASTERS - UNION STREET

Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters is an adorable little coffee shop in Cow Hollow, (with the cutest pineapple wallpaper)! The workers are super nice and helpful, and the drinks are delicious! I've tried their matcha latte and oat milk latte. Both were super creamy and flavorful!! If you like really sweet coffee, you may want to opt out - only because they don't offer any syrups or flavors. They DO have sugar cubes and packets, though!

DOUGHP - PIER 39

Doughp is an edible cookie dough shop on the second level of Pier 39. Although I wasn't a huge fan of their (only) dairy-free option (it tasted like straight-up almond butter),  I've only been in once and they do make everything in-store daily! Also, my friends who got the original dough said it was super thick and yummy, so I guess I may have to return to try again! One more thing - their dough is insanely sweet, so I recommend getting a small(ish) size (we all struggled with finishing ours).

So that's it!! Those are my current favorite spots to munch in SF! Follow me on Instagram to keep up with new finds in and outside of the city!

Thanks for reading!!
